LZ-AZ-1021 Short-horned Toad (Phrynosoma hernandazi) Mirror

This little lizard was found crossing a dirt road in southern Arizona. When I got down on my belly to get the photo, it opened its mouth for a few seconds. Lizards sometimes do this for temperature regulation. But it sure looks cute!
